Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. When you apply to be a mentor, we collect your contact details and your answers about your background and interest in mentoring. When you join our email list, we collect your email address. We do not ask for Social Security numbers, birth dates, or criminal history through this website.
Information collected automatically. Our website is built on Wix, which uses cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working and to count visits, such as pages viewed, device type, and approximate location.
How we use information
We use it to respond to your messages, review and follow up on mentor applications, send updates about our work and our book if you joined our email list, keep the website running, and meet legal requirements.
Donations and purchases
Gifts are made through Zeffy, a third-party donation platform. Payment details are handled by Zeffy and its payment processors, and we do not store them on this site. Book pre-orders are completed on Amazon. Their privacy policies apply on their sites.
Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the site and our email (such as Wix and Zeffy), when the law requires, or with your permission. Mentor applications are seen only by the people who review them.
Every email we send includes a way to unsubscribe.
